Early voting is coming to Kalamazoo County and will be used for state and federal elections -- but not local or special elections. Early voting is different than absentee voting in that voters can enter their ballot into a tabulator rather than it being held until Election Day. Results are not generated until polls close on election day. There are 4 early voting sites selected throughout the county and can accommodate voters for any participating jurisdiction. Each site will be open from 9 am to 5 p.m. for the nine days of early voting.
