There are four cemeteries within Charleston Township: Toad Hollow, Territorial (also known as Lawler Cemetery), Riverside, and Roof Cemetery.
Lots are available for purchase in Roof Cemetery and Territorial. For a Township resident, a single lot is $250. For a non-resident, a single lot is $550. To purchase a cemetery plot, please contact Township Clerk at (269) 665-7805 or by e-mail at charclerk@charlestontownship.org.

Records of burials, ownership deeds, and the like are maintained at the Township Hall and can be viewed by any interested person. Some data is very historical and somewhat unreliable, while newer records have been computerized and are much more reliable for family and genealogical studies.
