The three school districts within the boundaries of Charleston Township:
- The Galesburg-Augusta School District encompasses the largest area of the township.
- The Gull Lake Community School District is located in the northern portion of the township.
- The Climax-Scotts Community School District is located in the southern portion of the township.
The township also has many historical school buildings that are no longer in use, but have an immense historical value. Those schools include:
