Assessing Information

The Township Assessor, Chad Razmus, can be reached by phone/voicemail/text at (616-202-6509) or through email at chad.apgllc@gmail.com

Upon contacting the Assessor, the assessor shall return phone calls and emails within 48 hours of the initial correspondence. As a general practice typical response shall be within 8 hours unless detailed research is needed or as workload increases.

Longer than typical response times would be during assessment notice preparation, March Board of Review, July Board of Review, and December Board of Review.

The preferred contact method is by email or text message stating clearly your question, township you are in, address of property, and any additional attachments if by email to clearly assist my response.

Contact the assessor by appointment only as no office hours are held at the Township.

The assessor determines assessed values for tax evaluation with the coordination of the Township's Board of Review. The Board of Review meets annually to hear challenges to assessed evaluation and to correct clerical errors in the township's assessment roll.

The Township Assessor is also responsible for managing the township's Homestead Residence Exemption Affidavits.
